Computed Tomography Imaging: Safety & Image Quality

The focus of this Education Day is on Computed Tomography Imaging Safety & Image Quality; it includes:
1. To be able to understand the basic fundamentals of CT and its evolution.
2. Understand the types of contrast media used in CT
3. Analyze adverse reactions and contraindications to contrast media used in CT.
4. Understand the CT dose as compared to other diagnostic studies
5. Review the radiation protection principles used in CT.
6. Understand the common artifacts in CT affecting image quality.
7. Learn trauma imaging protocols in CT (a case study).

Lung Cancer: An Overview for Healthcare Professionals

CT Imaging 3 – Radiation Therapy

This course is designed for the radiation therapist and takes an in depth look at CT anatomy and disease processes for CNS and orbit, head and neck area and lung. The ECG in Imaging: The Essentials

The ECG is central to non-invasive cardiac imaging and technologists are expected to use the ECG in gating,

Cross Sectional Anatomy: A Multimodality Perspective

Refresh previous cross-sectional anatomy knowledge through exposure to images obtained via different modalities. In addition to computed tomography (CT) and magenetic resonance (MR) images, the learner will also study images from ultrasound and PET/CT.
