Radiographic Positioning & Image Analysis

The course is ASRT approved for 25.5 category A CE credits and provides a comprehensive review of the current image analysis and digital imaging guidelines for radiographic imaging and related positioning. After the introduction of imaging guidelines the course provides a review of positioning of various anatomic sections and provides image analysis evaluation of many of the most common problems related to positioning and exposure selection. The various anatomic sections covered include the following:

Chest and Abdomen
Upper Extremity
Shoulder
Lower Extremity
Pelvis, Hip, & Sacroiliac Joints
Cervical and Thoracic Vertebrae
Lumbar, Sacral, and Coccygeal Vertebrae
Sternum and Ribs
Cranium, Facial Bones, and Paranasal Sinuses
