Learning Objectives:
The topic of workplace bullying has been a major focus of educators in the health care environment across Canada for the two last decades. It is widely acknowledged that this issue creates financial and human costs. Research has generated measurements about how common this issue is and methods for dealing with workplace bullying. Human Resource departments have implemented tools, sent staff to mandatory presentations and developed no-tolerance policies to address these behaviors. Participants will be presented with a blend of information, techniques and strategies to use when confronted with bullying and harassment in the workplace.
