Join us for the third of four webinars, presented free for members thanks to support from Hologic, that covers the Continuum of Breast & Skeletal Care which MRTs are a vital part of providing. Webinar #3 covers radiation therapy, surgical and experimental treatments for breast cancer. You will hear from an experienced MRT(T) on the role of the MRT, the history of rad therapy and and side-effects to be on guard for during treatment; hear from Dr Look Hong (Associate Scientist, Sunnybrook; Assistant Professor, U of T) on the surgical options that are most often taken to fight breast cancers, and learn about upcoming treatments that might be applied to the fight against breast cancer.
