This one-day course will focus on Breast Tomosynthesis and Workup of Abnormal Screens. Following this event, participants should be able to identify the ability of breast cancer to be occult on some modalities and develop strategies for detection; identify the classic appearance, the spectrum of atypical appearances, and the imaging appearance of those breast cancers that are missed on screening mammography; and evaluate how tomosynthesis is changing the practice of breast imaging.
