This mammography course provides information on how to improve interpretive performance and medical audit in Mammography. It also covers MQSA Regulations, Inspections, and Enforcement. Furthermore, it explains the importance of adequate workforce for breast cancer screening and diagnosis. This continuing education course suggests strategies for a Supportive environment to promote quality improvement in mammography.

RADT 751 Magnetic Resonnence Imaging (MRI) in Radiotherapy MSc Level 7 20 credit on-line Module

Appealing to all members of the multi-disciplinary team, wanting to expand their knowledge and understanding of MRI use in Radiotherapy. Students will engage in critical debate with clinical experts and peers on current issues in radiotherapy MR imaging and evaluate use of MRI across a range of case studies. Students will be assessed via submission of an article critique and an assignment evaluating the impact of MRI on an aspect of modern clinical practice.

OAR’s New 1-Day CBMD Accredited Densitometry Technologist (ADT) Course + Exam

05 Oct 2019

This new 1-day CBMD ADT course plus exam, which will be webcast live, provides the same content as the previous 1.5-day course, however, the « optional written exam », to earn the 5-year CBMD ADT designation, will now be completed « online », at a date and time separate from the course. CAMRT has approved 11 Category « A » credits for full-day participation and 3 additional credits for completing an optional reflective assignment. There is no charge to take the exam.

OAR’s 2nd CBMD Advanced ADT Case-Study Course

This course is for MRTs who have a 5-year CBMD ADT designation and want challenging, unusual, and difficult adult and paediatric case-studies to provide invaluable QA/QC protocols and « tips and tricks » to apply to daily practice. Many new cases and enhanced content have been added, offering 5 hours of case-studies and 2 hours of interactive quizzes. X-ray Safety Officer course (XSO)
