Atlantic Radiotherapy Conference: Ultra-Hypofractionated Irradiation for All

Atlantic Radiotherapy Conference: Ultra-Hypofractionated Irradiation for All

In Atlantic Canada and the rest of the country, patients often travel long distances to receive daily radiation treatments. Hypofractionated and ultra-hypofractionated treatments represent a desired solution. This interactive meeting will focus on evidence and challenges in implementing protocols such as prostate hypofractionation, lung SBRT, brain SRS/SRT and accelerated partial breast irradiation. Keynote speakers from Europe (Dr. O. Chapet, University of Lyon), the USA (Dr. G. Videtic, Cleveland Clinic) and Canada (Dr. J. Kildea, McGill University) as well as expert local faculty will review the evidence, on-going research and technical solutions for ultra-hypofractionation.
