The Red River Métis History Course will cover the birth, naming and prominence of the Red River Métis Nation. The course will include the dispossession of the Métis and the rise in the 20th century. Information about MMF health and wellness resources will be shared.

Outcomes: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of where the Red River Métis Nation was born, how the province of Manitoba was created and why it is unique. Participants will receive greater context of the story the Red River Métis Nation.
