With the lack of in-person seminars/conferences in these times, it is challenging to find face-to-face opportunities to network with like-minded professionals (compared to in-person conferences in the past). Hence the suggestion of using social media as a means to facilitate opportunities for networking – whether as individuals or on behalf of organizations. This presentation will:
– discuss responsible social media usage for networking within the medical radiation professionals community
– explore emerging applications of social media for research dissemination
– delve into dissemination of research through social media (recruiting participants, surveys, focus groups, interviews).
